Fall Festivities

October has been quite an eventful month for us. We both agree that we had a fun month although it was a little crazy at times.

For our first adventure we took a day off from work and rode the train downtown to the State Fair. The weather was beautiful for our day at the Fair. Our slide show will really tell the full story of our day.

Our next October adventure was another small trip down to Austin. We had been there once before and loved it so much that we went back for more. It was good to get away and just relax and have fun. Some of our time was spent riding our bikes along the Colorado River at Zilker Park.

Josh and Farrah Keeler, transplant Austin residents from Utah, had us over for dinner, church and then lunch. The Keeler's were first friends of some friends, but our connections brought us together and we ended up bonding over fish, BYU-Hawaii, and a game of Munchin.

This year for Halloween we decided to be the Frankensteins. We had great fun dressing up and painting our faces for our ward Fall Festival. The best part about the night happened to be when we drove through Taco Cabana to grab some burritos. The lady at the window freaked out when she grabbed payment from Frankenstein (aka Juan). We laughed and laughed all the way home!

Steph's parents came for a quick, but fun, 48 hour visit. We all spent some quality time at the Dallas Arboretum. Luckily the Arboretum extended the Autumn Festival past Halloween so we were able to see all the pumpkin displays (Steph's favorite). We also packed in some great food from two great Dallas restaurants, watched three movies, briefly shopped, and even watched some college football. Good times, great memories.
